Stop for photographs, linger in a quiet bay, or cover more ground and see how the landscape changes. This experience is available year-round, and each season offers something different. In winter, the low light and snow-covered mountains create a cinematic atmosphere. In summer, the midnight sun turns the fjords golden through the night.

What You Can Expect

Weather, wildlife and local conditions may change the final plan.

Departure from Tromsø

We meet at the harbour, board the vessel and depart. Your captain reviews the plan and discusses any preferences with your group.

Cruising the fjords

We navigate through the islands and fjords surrounding Tromsø. The route is flexible — your captain can focus on scenery, wildlife, photography or simply relaxation.

Stopping and exploring

We can stop in sheltered bays, pass close to shore for photographs, or find a quiet spot to enjoy hot drinks and take in the surroundings.

Returning to harbour

We return to Tromsø at the agreed time. Timing is flexible and can be extended if your group wishes.

Wildlife & Nature

The natural environment

The fjords around Tromsø are home to a rich variety of birdlife, including sea eagles, cormorants and eider ducks. In the water, you may see harbour porpoises and occasionally seals. In winter, the same fjords attract humpback whales and orcas. We do not guarantee wildlife sightings on a fjord cruise, but the landscape itself is the destination. The mountains, the water, the changing light and the silence of the fjords are what make this experience special.
