The overarching concept was to create a modern and architecturally exciting complex, perfectly integrated into the landscape. Floor-to-ceiling windows and direct terrace access offer an uninterrupted panoramic view of the fjords and mountains.

Eirik Wilhelmsen — Host & Sommelier
Eirik is one of our hosts at Lodge Havnnes, and a native of Lyngen. He carries a deep connection to the landscape, the fjords and the rhythms of life in the far north, knowledge earned over a lifetime among these mountains and waters.
As your host, he ensures that every detail of your stay runs seamlessly, from arrival and daily planning to special requests and departure. He is the link between the lodge and your daytime activities, whale watching, ski touring, fjord cruising, so that each day flows effortlessly from adventure to stillness.
Behind the scenes, he organises every detail of lodge life so that nothing is left to chance. As a trained sommelier, he pairs each menu with wines and spirits chosen to elevate the cuisine. Working alongside a private chef, together they build every menu around your preferences and the best seasonal produce Northern Norway has to offer: fresh seafood from the fjords, reindeer and game from the highlands, wild berries and herbs gathered from the surrounding landscape.
Eirik is part of a wider team we assemble around your group. Depending on the size of your party and the experiences you wish for, we bring together the right combination of hosts, chef, guides and crew, so that every aspect of your stay is looked after by people chosen for your specific needs.

We offer a complete luxury package combining the lodge with private vessel travel and tailor-made experiences. Having Archipelago available throughout your stay transforms what is possible. Instead of being bound to one location, your days unfold across the fjords, islands and coastal communities of Northern Norway, guided by weather, wildlife and your own interests.
The vessel serves as your private transport between Tromsø and the lodge, so the journey itself becomes part of the adventure. From there, Archipelago gives you daily access to remote fjords, islands and valleys that are unreachable by road, with the flexibility to follow the wildlife, light and conditions each day.
Onboard, you have a warm and comfortable base for resting, dining and preparing between excursions. Whale watching, fishing, photography and coastal exploration all depart from the same vessel, while a dedicated, experienced crew attends to every detail at sea, leaving you free to simply enjoy the journey.
